GrandDesigner Lite

Terms of Use

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the iOS app “GrandDesigner Lite” and related services (the “Service”) provided by Sakaguchi Architecture Lab (“we” or “us”).

Anyone who uses the Service (a “User”) agrees to these Terms.

Article 2 (The Service)

The Service uses AI to help create deliverables for the earliest phases of IT projects, such as IT strategy and planning (business architecture, use cases, business process flows, requirements, package selection and fit/gap analysis, RFPs and RFIs, and more).

We may change the content, features and usage limits of the Service by notifying Users in advance.

Article 3 (Accounts)

Users create an account with Sign in with Apple and are responsible for managing it.

Users can delete their account at any time from Settings in the app. Deleting the account permanently deletes all data, including projects and deliverables.

Article 4 (Fees and Subscriptions)

Some features (creating projects, creating deliverables with AI, reading project briefs from materials, etc.) require a paid subscription.

Payment is processed through Apple Inc.'s App Store, and the App Store's terms apply.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel in the iPhone Settings app under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.

Refunds are handled through the App Store's procedures; we do not issue refunds directly.

Usage limits, such as the number of AI runs per month and the number of projects, are as shown in the app.

Article 5 (AI Output)

Deliverables created by the Service are drafts produced by AI based on your input. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, usefulness or fitness for a particular purpose.

Users review and edit deliverables at their own responsibility before using them. Except as set out in Article 9, we are not responsible for the results of using deliverables.

Article 6 (Your Input and Deliverables)

Rights to the content you enter (project information, instructions, notes, text read from attachments, etc.) and to the deliverables created with the Service belong to you (or the rightful owner). We do not acquire these rights.

We handle your input and deliverables only as needed to provide the Service (including AI processing). Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

When entering confidential or personal information of third parties, Users must follow their organization's rules and contractual obligations and obtain any necessary authorization or consent.

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the Service, Users must not:

  • violate laws or public order and morals;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other rights or interests of others;
  • place excessive load on, or gain unauthorized access to, the Service's servers or networks;
  • disassemble or reverse engineer the Service, or use it in bulk by automated means;
  • resell or redistribute the Service to third parties; or
  • engage in any other conduct we reasonably deem inappropriate.

Article 8 (Suspension and Termination)

We may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice for maintenance, failures, outages of external services (AI, cloud, App Store, etc.) or other unavoidable reasons.

We may end the Service by giving at least 30 days' notice in the app or on this page.

If a User violates these Terms, we may suspend their use or delete their account without prior notice.

Article 9 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

We do not guarantee that the Service is free from defects in fact or law (including security flaws, errors and bugs).

If we are liable to a User for damages, our liability is limited to ordinary and direct damages actually incurred, up to the total fees the User paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the damages.

This limitation does not apply in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where it is not permitted by applicable law.

Article 10 (Changes to the Terms)

We may change these Terms in accordance with applicable law. We will announce the changes and their effective date in the app or on this page reasonably in advance of the effective date.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, except where the mandatory laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

In case of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions of these Terms, the Japanese version prevails.
