Privacy Policy

Sakaguchi Architecture Lab (represented by Koichiro Sakaguchi; “we” or “us”) handles Users' personal information in the iOS app “GrandDesigner Lite” and related services (the “Service”) as described below, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws.

We will provide our address without delay upon request at sakaguchi_koichiro@yahoo.co.jp.

• Information provided by Sign in with Apple: your Apple user ID, name (first time only, optional), and email address (Apple's relay address if you choose “Hide My Email”)
• Content you enter: project information, instructions to AI, notes and transcripts, text read from attachments and photos, deliverables you create or edit, and answers to the AI governance trial
• Purchase information: App Store subscription type, status, expiration and transaction ID (we do not receive payment details such as card numbers)
• Device information: a device ID created by the app, the push notification token, and the app version
• Usage records: number and volume of AI runs, activity records (audit logs) and access records

Attached files and photos are discarded after their text is read; the files themselves are not stored. Speech input is transcribed on your device, and audio is never sent to us.

• To provide the Service (account management, creating deliverables with AI, exporting to Office formats, push notifications, etc.)
• To verify and manage subscriptions
• To manage usage limits, prevent misuse and ensure security
• To respond to inquiries and send important notices
• To improve the Service and understand costs (aggregated in a way that does not identify individuals)

We do not use your input or deliverables for AI training or advertising.

We entrust the handling of personal information to the following providers to operate the Service. These providers are located outside Japan, so personal information is transferred abroad.

• Anthropic, PBC (United States): AI processing. Your input and the information needed to create deliverables are sent to its API (Claude). Under its commercial terms, the content we send is not used to train its AI.
• Vercel Inc. (United States): server hosting (processing region: Singapore)
• Neon (a database service provided by a U.S. company): database hosting (storage region: Singapore)
• Apple Inc. (United States): Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and push notifications

Data is sent to AI only after you consent in the app. We use these providers after reviewing their terms, data processing conditions and published policies, and require them to handle personal information appropriately.

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

• Projects, deliverables and input: kept until you delete them or delete your account.
• When you delete your account, we delete all projects, deliverables, device information, usage records and subscription records, and unlink Sign in with Apple. Activity records (audit logs) may be kept in a form that does not identify you.
• Content sent for AI processing may be retained by Anthropic for the period it specifies.

To prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information, we use measures such as encrypted communication, access control (each User can access only their own data), encryption and hashing of credentials, and not recording input content in logs.

You may request that we notify you of the purpose of use, disclose, correct, add to, delete, stop using, or stop providing to third parties the personal information we hold about you. Please contact sakaguchi_koichiro@yahoo.co.jp. After verifying your identity, we will respond without delay in accordance with applicable law.

The Service does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising or tracking purposes.

We may update this Policy as needed. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page. If we change how data is sent to AI, we will ask for your consent again in the app.
